About Sami’s Legacy Memorial Barrel Race

Samantha Jean “Sami” Milburn was a 22 year old barrel racer from Southeast Kansas who fought hard and lost her battle with cancer on December 12, 2019. Sami wanted to leave people better than she found them and asked her family to keep her legacy alive.

Sami’s Legacy Memorial Barrel Race funds the Sami Milburn Memorial Fund, which helps projects she loved. A believer in the Future Farmers of America program, she taught 4-H members about horsemanship and the sport of rodeo, was a founding coach with the Cross Trails Cowboy Ministry’s Rodeo Bible Camp, and served on the Crawford County Fair board.
